Bat Walk & Talk – Ardara – Friday May 8th 2015 @ 8 pm
Meeting place: Ardara Heritage Centre
The evening will start with a presentation on bats in the Heritage Centre, Ardara. This will be followed by a short walk through bats habitats such as the river’s edge and trees in Ardara town. Sonic Bat Detectors will be used to identify bats on the wing.
Guide: Aengus Kennedy, nature guide. Aengus guided many walks for the public and for schools and including bat walks in Glenveagh National Park.
Everyone welcome – free and suitable for all ages. Please wear suitable footwear and clothing for the expected weather. The walk will coincide with dusk so high visibility clothing and torches would be very desirable.
